Gabri Veiga recently spoke about the speculation surrounding his future, acknowledging that his situation has been complicated. The 21-year-old midfielder has been the subject of transfer rumors, particularly linking him to Liverpool.

According to journalist Rudy Galetti, Liverpool is reportedly preparing an offer for Veiga, who has a release clause of $43 million (£34 million/€40 million) at Celta Vigo. Other clubs, such as Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Newcastle, have also been mentioned as potential destinations for Veiga, as reported by the Evening Standard.

However, during a press conference prior to the U21 Euros, Veiga chose to keep his future plans under wraps. Veiga expressed, “It’s been a bit chaotic. I parted ways with my previous agent and took some time off. After careful consideration, I have chosen what I believe to be the best representation, and I believe I have grown significantly as a result.”

When asked about his future, Veiga remained focused on the present, emphasizing his commitment to the National Team. He stated, “I don’t dwell on my future. Right now, my focus is on the European Championship. I aspire to be part of the final squad and, ultimately, win the tournament. I’m fully dedicated to this exciting challenge with the national team.”
