Manu Kone, a target of Liverpool, exited the stadium on crutches following a knee injury while playing for the France U-21 team. The Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder will soon learn the severity of the injury, having been substituted in the 19th minute.

It is concerning that the injury occurred without any contact from another player, indicating a potential problem. Despite the setback, the 22-year-old attempted to continue playing after sustaining the knee injury early in the match. This unfortunate incident may jeopardize his prospects of joining Liverpool FC.

Notably, France emerged victorious with a 4-1 win over Switzerland and are strong contenders for the tournament title. L’Equipe has reported that Kone will undergo a medical examination today in Cluj to determine the nature of his injury.
